This place has been absolutely amazing. They have been nothing but nice with me. The original building manager went out of her way to do a virtual walk through with me over facetime before I moved in from the mainland. The property managers for the company are phenomenal and super understanding with life circumstances and the building itself has had a great new manager since October that has been taking care of every little thing! There is no longer a bed bug issue which is obviously great, the garden has been cleaned up for tenants to start a community garden or flower bed, the building has friendly, quiet tenants, most who have pets or a family. There are also a few seniors here which goes to show just how nice and quiet the building is! The laundry is shared but the laundry room is always kept neat and tidy. I also love that the location is right by Brooks landing, a school, a bus stop, and the E&N trail!
10/10 would definitely recommend Highland Place if you're not familiar with Nanaimo!
