Simple nice and convenient from the ferry, Arrived after they closed but they were kind enough to leave everything we needed outside for us

This is a hidden little gem in Nanaimo, our family has been going for the last 6 years and as our family grows up in Nanaimo we love camping here because so close to home and the owners and workers are very friendly and helpful. Between lake, park and the hay rides...its becoming a family tradition every year to get a camp site here with a trailer or tent camping its awesome...year after year thanks for the memories ? ❤ ?

Another fabulous weekend spent with the family at our favourite spot. The campsite is so beautiful no matter what site. The lake is a great getaway and not a far jont from the camping.
Most of all the kind service and the friendly greeters and staff go over and above to make your stay most enjoyable.

Fantastic place to camp for us and our two children last week. Sublimely quiet in the evenings. We tented and the spot was huge even with a van and our large tent. The tree cover is amazing and gives lots of shade when the afternoons get hot. Washrooms are clean and stocked, staff is amazing and the private beach on the lake was well loved by our two boys as was the playground. Location and price were great. We will definitely be back!

First camping trip in my trailer spent here. All in all a great experience. Staff very friendly and eager to please. COVID rules in effect and appreciated the extra efforts to maintain sanitized washrooms, etc. Lake is a bit of a trek by foot but through pretty farmland. Recommend driving or bike ride. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is their sani-dump was out of commission but not a big deal. Will definitely go back!!
