Payam has always been ready to provide immediate help with incredible generosity! They provide really personable service and creative solutions to any problem. I absolutely rely on my glasses and am also really tough on them. Nanaimo One Hour Optical has consistently provided me with very high end glasses at a budget price. (July 28, 2022, 8:40 pm)This business is an absolute gem. Customer service is above and beyond. I live in a rural area - 4 hour drive from Nanaimo. My child lost their glasses in a lake and is almost unable to function without them. I messaged this store at 10:30 at night and they RESPONDED! I sent in the prescription and then they went in early to see if they had the lenses we needed. We got the call that they did and headed straight to Nanaimo. My child picked out some stylish frames and the glasses were ready in 40 minutes! We went back and I was almost a little nervous to ask the price - it was an emergency service after all. Glasses were under $400 all in, and with the tenacity of the optometrist the price was $39.99 after insurance. I wish I could give more stars for this business as they have managed to achieve the impossible trifecta: quality, speed, and affordable. Throw in friendly and accommodating on the hottest day of summer, and you have Nanaimo 1 Hour Optical. THANK YOU!!!

(June 17, 2022, 11:53 pm)Awesome service from Gayle. I must have tried on 50 frames before making a choice and she never showed impatience. I purchased progressives and prescription sun glasses. The progressives are the best I have ever had. She did the tinting and gradient on my shades and they look great. Less than a week to get both back as well, I have always had to wait 2-3 weeks. Would highly recommend this place!

Superior customer service!! Don’t waste your time anywhere else. The owner was wonderful, he helped us with our frame selection and recommended the color for our transitions lenses that look great in the frames. I was very impressed with the time he spent and the attention he gave. Our new glasses are fabulous!
