From an initial email, Spencer demonstrated in-depth expertise in problem solving and navigating our tax quandary at both state and federal levels. Walking us through the ongoings of an arduous, multi-step process, Spencer kept us up-to-date with clear and open communication throughout our dealings. (April 12, 2020, 9:35 pm)We are required to submit both a Canadian and a US tax return annually. In years past we were using our US tax accountant, as well as a Canadian accountant here in Canada. It was expensive and not well coordinated, because of the separation between the two organizations. We had the good fortune of meeting Spencer Leakey prior to this tax season. He took over both returns, processed them quickly and efficiently, and saved us a significant amount of money. He was ready to answer any questions that we had, resolved some outstanding questions that had concerned us for some time, was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. The staff was also very helpful. We strongly recommend him and his firm, Leakey and Lewicki Ltd.
