I haven't gone to Diane but I was calling around trying to find a mental health professional in town that I could actually afford & instead of giving me her fee & leaving it at that, she actually took a moment to delve, & gave me some good suggestions when it turned out she wouldn't be able to help me herself. She didn't have to do that, it wasn't her job to do that, but in the middle of a really wearing process of being remind that although everyone says "mental health is important!" nobody wants to help (e.g. govt, work, health insurance, NOT blaming the professionals for this) by making it affordable, she made me feel seen and heard. I cannot overstate how valuable that is, and how much it helps, when one is doing the VERY hard work of TRYING to arrange for self-care. Thank you, Diane.
