We have struggled to find the right help for at least 5 years now and we are so grateful to Dr. Chi Hung and his staff for finally LISTENING and giving us the help and hope we have been so desperately searching for.

(November 13, 2022, 6:58 pm)I experienced early childhood trauma which caused complex PTSD, Major Depression, and intense anxiety that I suffered with for over 30yrs (I was bed ridden for 25 years. I had no life).
I tried everything...medications and many alternative treatments, and A LOT of therapy with no results.
Five days of intensive TMS treatment had me feeling the best I've ever felt in my life!
In addition to the efficacy of the treatment, Dr. Au and his team are very kind and helpful. I was feeling so vulnerable and they helped me feel safe and cared for. I am eternally grateful to have had this life changing experience. -

He is a very attentive listener, did a thorough review of my medications, was empathetic, and provided concrete treatment recommendations on my first visit. Dr. Au took the time to explain his decisions and recommendations. A good psychiatrist is not easy to find, and we do not have many options in Nanaimo, but Dr. Au stands out above the rest. He stands out because of his empathy, his ability to relate to this patient, and for simply being a good guy. Highly recommended!
