(March 13, 2022, 8:34 pm)Decent baseball complexes are hard to find. Thankfully Nanaimo’s McGirr fields are well maintained and host to a number to tournaments bringing people out from various parts of the island or further.

(June 1, 2018, 7:05 pm)This is another nice upper island sports venue. Ball diamonds are kept up very well with red dirt infields. Set up nicely with washrooms and concession in the center of it all. Venue has grass soccer fields as well with have been kept up well and appear to have good drainage.Good soccer and fastball venue

(October 6, 2016, 10:12 pm)This is quite a nice sports complex. All of the fields are real grass, and it's well maintained. The fields are located around central washrooms. There is lots of parking, which is good because it's sort of in the middle of nowhere. If you are there for a full day, pack a lunch because there's not much around.
