(September 13, 2022, 12:39 am)Let me say i have used this store for a few of my 50 years and its the best I've been to service knowledgeable staff and I like the customer service on the personal level its nice to see and the personal touch needed as iam not a mechanic so I walk in with pictures and walk out with the parts now I got it out how does it go back in what is this a nut 🤣

(July 7, 2022, 5:55 am)I accompanied a friend to the Nanaimo North location because he was told the part he was looking for was in stock. After a 15 minute (+/-) wait my friend emerges empty handed. It turns out the Parksville location has 1 in stock but Nanaimo doesn't so off we go to the Parksville location. He is successful on purchasing a part but due to past experiences we decide to open the box and not surprisingly it isn't the right one. Another conversation with staff reveals that there is 1 in their warehouse (apparently) which doesn't help us any of course. So after the running around he was told would yield the sought after part, he left Lordco with a couple tools from the discount bin and frustration. Based on all the experience I have had dealing with Lordco I'm starting to think they sell you incorrect parts or to other locations knowing that this will result in extra wear and tear on your vehicle and ultimately more parts sold by them. I personally will be looking for automotive parts anywhere and everywhere else 1st from now on. *****************************************After posting this review I was contacted by the regional manager (Brad..? I think) who wanted to rectify the situation. He succeeded in doing so by personally driving the appropriate part from the Comox Valley back to my residence in Nanaimo at no cost. We had a lengthy conversation and I told him I would remove the scathing post I had left before in order to rectify that situation. However, I forgot to do so, my apologies. I've been back to Lordco numerous times since with positive results. I'm disappointed I can't recall his name but I was thoroughly impressed with his desire to not just make sure I got the right part but willingness to hand deliver it to my home and hang out with me after to ensure that he was leaving a satisfied customer. Thank you for your superior customer service and again, my apologies for the year long delay to uphold my end of the bargain. It was his attention to this matter and nothing else that put me back on their list of customers.
