Buccaneer Inn

I organize employee accommodation for a mechanical contractor company, and I’ve had the pleasure to work with Dave and Marlene over the last year while we had work in Nanaimo. I worked mainly with Marlene who is fantastic, she provided cost effective options for our long term stays and kept on top of shift changes even when I didn’t get them to her in time.
I personally haven’t stayed here but my colleagues said the rooms were clean and quiet – I didn’t receive a single complaint while we were there. I will recommend the Buccaneer Inn to anybody going to Nanaimo and I hope to one day make it out to stay myself!

The place seemed clean and the location is good! Rooms are small however.

The care to detail is evident upon arrival, very comfortable!

The Buccaneer is a fantastic little place. It has all the comforts of home with a great view. The living room couches were so soft and comfy, with a great fireplace. The bed was amazing I slept like a rock! Everything was perfectly clean and well appointed. The owner is very nice and welcoming. I will for sure stay here next time i come to Nanaimo, truly a hidden gem

Me and my friend were stuck in Island because the ferries have been canceled. It was already close to 9, which was making after hours for the place, but Lady over the phone agreed to stay longer just for us so we can come and get the room. She went extra mile to transform our stressful night to become much better and calm. The place itself was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will recommend and would stay there again.
