My husband and I have stayed at the Artful Suite several times. The clean and tidy suite has everything you could need. The bed is comfy. The suite has a cute kitchen that allows you to prepare the occasional meal. We enjoyed the close proximity to nearby parks and Departure Bay ferry . We always look forward to our next stay!

This was an amazing place to stay. The host Norma has thought of every need for her guests. I found the suite to be spacious, clean, quiet and very private. Centrally located this suite is the perfect location to explore mid Vancouver island from. Will I be back, most certainly and I highly recommend this accommodation to other travelers. Margret B
A walk of 5 minutes and you are on a beach full of history, from the Piper family to a whaling station, you can see some ruins. If you get tired of thinking of our colourful, coastal history then turn around and watch otters and black cormorants dive for clams while sea gulls try and rob them. I was lucky enough to see some geese and their goslings have some breakfast one morning. Absolutely spectacular!
