(May 25, 2021, 7:34 pm)Strathcona is a great park that I would frequent quite a bit with my kid. The families tend to be down to earth and friendships are quickly made. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 is the chance of finding needles there. It's not as common as other areas and sadly it's a part of life in Vancouver but bringing a very young kid here would be difficult. At the time (and maybe still) there was a service you could contact that would come out and pick up any needles found and we twice contacted them at the park. 2 times isn't a lot but it's enough to make mention of.
