(February 13, 2020, 2:25 am)One of the best capoeira schools and one of the best teachers. I've trained with the teacher here, Marcus many times, locally in Vancouver, several places across the United States, and even in Brazil. His skill in and knowledge of the art form is first rate and inspirational.
The kids classes are also exceptional. Challenging and thought provoking, they develop the students' minds. It's really cool to return to Vancouver and meet these kids now as adults, training and growing with the group.
Every time I visit Vancouver from my home in the US, I train with Axé Capoeira. Every time they welcome me like family. I cannot wait to come back. -

(February 13, 2020, 1:47 am)My son has been attending the mini kids Capoeira classes for around 4 months now and he absolutely loves it!
Its an amazing program, with the kids not only learning martial arts but also all of the cultural aspects that Capoeira has to offer, singing, musical instruments, Learning Portuguese songs and number and story's about Capoeira's history. -

Children learn from Mestrando Barrazinho because at the end of each class, after all of the hard work, children can feel the Love and respect that their teacher has for the art of Capoeira and how much he values the opportunity to share the art with anyone who wants to learn. Perfect mix of fun and discipline while focusing on body awareness, culture, self-defense and confidence. If you want your child to learn Capoeira, this is the best place for them.
