One of the good things about this whole pandemic thing is that we've been seeing a lot of interesting take-out options pop-up all over the place. For example, we found this place call The Cake & The Giraffe who was selling special treat boxes during Valentine's Day.

The Valentine's Day Treat Box ($30) included Dark Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies, Strawberry Heart Macarons, Walnut Brownies, and White Chocolate Dipped Rose Petal Pink Peppercorn Shortbread.

I'm glad we found this place because these were very yummy treats and the presentation was on point (thanks to my sweetie for the sweets!)

Dalana made such a beautiful cake for my birthday. While my partner and I couldn’t celebrate with others this year, at least we were able to share this amazing cake. It’s red velvet with real cream cheese. Yum!

I am a wedding planner in Vancouver and can’t recommend Dalana strongly enough - she is amazing! Her cakes are delicious, as good in the big cakes on the day as they are in the tasting which is rare. Her artistry with her craft, creativity and infectiously positive personality make her one of my favourite vendors to have on a team for my clients. If you’re looking for a cake maker, look no further - you’ve found the best of the best!
