The staff at the clinic were amazing from my first call to inquire about the treatment. They spent time explaining the procedure and what I could expect in terms of behaviour and lab values after the treatment. I felt very well informed to make the decision to bring my fur baby in.

As my 17-year old girl had never slept away from home, I was nervous about her having to stay in hospital for 4 nights. When I dropped her off, Dr. Sheila spent a long time talking to me, reassuring me, and letting me know what all they do to make the kitties comfortable during their stay.

They called me each day to let me know how my girl was doing and took and posted photos (see below) of my kitty and all the other kitties in that week with funny captions. Those small things really helped me feel better about my kitty being away from home and not being able to visit her.

I would highly recommend this team for treating your cat's hyperthyroidism as it shows in everything that they do how much they truly care about their patients, and the parents who miss them like crazy while they're at "thyroid camp". Thanks so much to the NWNMA team! You are all fantastic! I wish you were my regular vet! ??

The best place to take your kitty for solving a hyperthyroid issue. I had great communication with the vet techs from start to finish. It was a relief to have daily chats about my Venus's progress. They are a careing and supportive and love cats!

I adopted my rescue cat Cali back in 2013, she has been the sweetest most loving cat.

In 2019 she started losing a lot of weight, after a few trips to the vet (I live in Alberta) they recommended this company to treat her.

I was a little skeptical at first but I love my cat and was told these people are the best. After talking on the phone with one of the staff I booked my cat Cali in to get treated in October. They were very helpful and professional and could tell they really knew what they were doing.

So I drove to Vancouver (1,200 km) and they take Cali for the business week while I go back to Alberta. They called me every day to update me on how she was doing. Then I drove back to get her.

Overall they were delightful to deal with and were very accommodating of my schedule and arranged for a time for me to pick her up.

It is now almost 7 months later and my Cali is looking healthy again, when I had her checked at the vet about two months ago they said her thyroid levels were perfect.

These guys are the best, in total I drove 4,400 km to get my cat treated, spent two nights in a hotel, and paid for the treatment and it was all worth it. If anyone is every wondering about using these guys, I absolutely recommend them.

The staff are exceptional and caring for all of the animals and their owners. The care and attention they take is remarkable. Leaving our loved one with them for a week was hard but we received daily phone calls with updates and pictures. Everyone is so wonderful, we would trust any of our cats with them no questions asked. To eliminate and cure hyperthyroidism and the need for daily medication is the best thing for the cats and their owners. This place is a sure gem, they are exceptional and will remain in our hearts forever after taking care of our boy, Tequila. We couldn't be more thankful for their kindness, professionalism and compassion to both us and our boy.

The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and obviously care deeply for the cats. My cat loved them and managed to convince them to feed him a while bunch of his treats by being well behaved and cute.
A cure for Hyperthyroidism is a wonderful piece of mind over the constant medication and monitoring blood work.
