(August 7, 2021, 7:03 pm)Sometimes I leave short reviews and sometimes I put in the extra effort. This place deserves the extra effort. I've been to this store a few times and should probably finally jump on the great points program they have. This is much more than just a wine store. They have a great spirits selection and one of the best craft single can beer offerings in Vancouver. I was in the other day and was pleasantly greeted as I walked in by a number of staff who were laughing and chatting amongst themselves. I felt a good energy immediately, as I had on previous visits. I was shortly approached by a tall young man who looked to be a manager asking if I needed help finding anything. I asked for recommendations on beer as the selection was so large. He went into detailed explanations about several styles, breweries and options and I ended up leaving with almost 3x what Intended to purchase. I swear he must have tried every beer in that fridge. To say I was impressed is an understatement. At the till I was helped by a very nice guy with hair straight from the 80's! We had a nice exchange and laughed and I left with a smile on my face and WAY more beer than I expected. 100% will return to this amazing liquor store! Next time I'm in the area I will come to stock up on wine!
