I had a hot chocolate and a spiced apple cider at the Holiday Popup at Robson. Both were just the right temperature to enjoy and so good.

The apple cider was nicely spiced and just sweet enough. The hot chocolate was a darker chocolate and rich.

I think they move around but if you happen to see the cart make sure to get a taste

Got their hot chocolate which they make using chocolate ganache (yum!)

Also, I tried it with Oatmilk for the first time and… it’s amazing!

Found them at the Lumiere Festival 2022 taking place at the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza so, make sure you check out their social media and/or website to learn where they’ll be next and/or book them for your event!

I also look forward to trying their coffee next and taste the love and care built into their espresso machine!

My sister is the co-owner of Scavenger Coffee and I can say with 100% confidence that they really pay attention to the details — the coffee is an amazing single origin roast from a local roaster (they also sell wholesale), it’s freshly ground, your shot is pulled with a smile and, as a bonus, the cart is beautifully hand-built and creates a great ambiance! Definitely make time to go check them out!

Love the whole ambiance of getting coffee here. Beautifully cart with many handcrafted touches. Super friendly staff and very tasty coffee. Great way to enjoy an outdoor flat white!

Scavenger Coffee is a grassroots coffee initiative started by 2 passionate coffee-and-cycling enthusiasts. They built their bicycle pulled coffee cart by hand and it includes many custom-made parts (including their custom built espresso machine Fantastiko, built by an artisan in Nelson). If you want to support small businesses who are passionate about building community and ALSO want a great coffee, then I highly, highly encourage you to try them out. They also have the best hot chocolate you'll ever taste!
