(January 9, 2021, 3:26 am)Great experience. I hired Paul for the conveyancing of my rental property. I usually go through a notary as I always believed it is a lot cheaper. I hired a lawyer due to a horrible tenant that made selling this property a nightmare. I saw Jessica once for legal advice for arbitration which was money well spent (one hour of a consultation) as I firmly believe anyone who rents their home or rental home should seek legal advice; landlords do have rights, I discovered, it all depends on how you fill out paper work and present your case. Paul did they conveyancing and he also helped me with my arbitration with this tenant providing a very detailed email on how to present my case. Jessica and Paul were very honest about if a lawyer was needed for this arbitration. I thought I was going to get a huge bill at the end of it. I was so exhausted fighting this renter I was willing to pay whatever, but to my surprise the bill was very reasonable and comparable to hiring a notary plus you have the protection of a lawyer.

She explained to me about the process of divorce thoroughly, took the time to listen to me and promised that she would take care of it. I feel so grateful to have met Ms. Tee, and so thankful that she was my lawyer. She was a good listener, considerate, compassionate and professional.
The staff (Erin and Marlise) were always so efficient and professional as well.

Went out of her way to make me comfortable and talked to me as a person and really truly cared. She walked me through everything and made sure my child's best interest was taken care of. I have had 4 layers over the past 5 years with this battle and by far she was the best. The most compassionate and the truly only one that wanted the best for my child. Cote & evens go beyond to have amazing lawyers to help you. I would first go to them because you will get the best.
