(February 2, 2022, 3:33 am)Sullivan Point is located at the west end of Sullivan Street. I saw today, the old Lifeguard Tower which employs lifeguards in summer. I see on the guard station base, they've attached an Orange Life Ring for the off-season. A sign calls it a "Public Access Life Ring" and a sign says this is Sullivan Point Park.

(August 31, 2019, 4:22 am)Lifeguards are on duty at Sullivan Point during the summer from 11am to 7pm. Beach goers can enjoy two roped off areas for swimmers of all ages. The station has a new beach wheelchair. The wheelchair is available for loan throughout the summer. It has chest straps and a seatbelt and can be used with the assistance of an attendant, friend or family member. Life jackets rentals are also available at the station.
