Great centre and staff! Just realized they even have one of our favorite teacher on board now!

My son is happy to go to school every morning, which means everything to us. He also loves food there that is a challenge to my cooking now. He always tells me stories about friends and teachers who he played with during the day. Teachers are warm, enthusiastic, and caring. We are very pleased with Nest. As a bonus, Nest's Christmas concert is the best show I've ever seen. I would recommend Nest to parents who are looking for a happy care.

My daughter is in her second year attending Nest Early Learning Daycare and she has opened up her mind to try new things. She comes home singing songs in Mandarin and talks about the friends she had played with. The staff have prepared well planned daily activities for the children and it shows when my daughter talks about the things they did all the way home afterwards. Having the lunch and snacks, included in the care, makes it easy for me to just drop off and pick up without having to figure out what meals to bring every time. It also allows my child to try new foods. I really like the fact that it is located at an elementary school with access to the library and the gym if it is wet out and they need some inside activities. Sometimes they would join the school and participate in some of the extra curricular activites from time to time as well. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for exceptional care. I know my daughter will miss them all once she starts Kindergarten next year.

My son is absolutely in love with Nest! He began attending Nest shortly before he turned three. Their educational philosophy is Reggio Emilia and this self guided approach to learning fits well with my son's personality. The learning seems to also be play-based, which engages all children, and the teachers who support my child also have a montessori educational background. As a teacher myself, I am interested in finding the educational philosophy that matches my son and also a program that provides appropriate structure and routines along with a balance of play built into a learning framework. At Nest, they truly provide a well balanced, warm, and caring learning environment for my child.
The centre is situated within an elementary school and so the children have access to the school facilities such as the library and gym. They also have their own enclosed play area equipped with a play structure, sandbox, play house, garden and various outdoor toys to foster physical play.
Aside from their outstanding facility, the teachers at Nest is truly the reason that my son adores his school. I can tell the teachers plan their circle time thoughtfully because my son comes home talking and singing about all the things he learned at school. He is also potty training right now, and the teachers are so patient and supportive during this messy time. Another bonus, is that the centre provides all snacks and meals! Yay!

Our daughter has been at Nest since she was 2.5 years old and the benefits to her and our family have been numerous. The staff are excellent and experienced and have encouraged our daughter through everything from potty-training to acquiring a second-language. Nest's facility (based in an elementary school) is second-to-none and has the benefits of a large, private outdoor space but also use of the elementary school's gym and library. Their hours of operation, flexible schedule and catered meals (included) make it very easy for us as working parents. Ultimately however, our daughter has learned so much through the combination of programs and play and to hear her say "I'm not ready to go yet" every time we pick her up is testimonial enough for us!
