Whether the task is a regular tuning or a substantial overhaul, he works with care and attention to detail. Misha is quick to return calls and when there is an emergency repair, he comes as soon as possible to get the piano back in top condition. He has generously helped me find new instruments when necessary and is happy to give explanations for any of his services. He is a trustworthy craftsman and I appreciate his professionalism. The fact that he has been a spectacular Concert Technician for many years, tuning and servicing the best piano brands (Fazioli, C Bechstein, Steinway, Sauter...), shouldn't discourage you from contacting him if you have a low key piano. Three years ago, he gave new life to my 96-yo upright piano which had been neglected for decades. I couldn't recognize the instrument that I was playing on after he was finished. And it is still being played and enjoyed only needing regular tuning. The best investment in my life.
Misha is a great professional and a great human being. Always caring about his customers interests. I really recommend getting Misha's consultation before purchasing a used piano. He is very thorough and will let you know all you need to make the best decision. It is a great privilege to be Misha Udovenko's client!
