I had been searching for a quality, nature based, child-led learning based childcare centre for over a year when i was recommended Hazelwood by another Mom of a child who attended and loved it. I am extremely picky about who i leave my kids with and i was (and am still) beyond grateful to have found such a wonderful and supportive centre for my son. Patricia and all of her staff at Hazelwood are just the most kind and nurturing people that made such a huge difference in our lives. They became like extended family for us and were so supportive when our 2nd son was born. I don't know what I would have done without all of them. It truly was a home away from home and my son still (3 years later) has fond memories of his time there...creating a pulley system with Sali & going on nature walks with Bryanne. I remember coming to pick my son up when he was unwell one time and Bryanne was snuggling & comforting him on the couch just like a Mama would. All of the staff at Hazelwood made such a huge impact on our family. We would recommend them over and over again! We moved to the island and I was so sad that our younger son didn't get to experience Hazelwood. I cannot say thankyou enough Hazelwood 💞

My son loved the outdoor approach, he attended when he was 4 for his last year before Kindergarten and it made the world of difference after leaving a not so good daycare environment. The teachers were kind and nurturing. My child loved Miss Sali, Miss Alyssa, and Miss Brianne and will always hold a special place i our heart. Thank you for creating a safe, fun environment.

(March 3, 2020, 4:57 pm)Daughter used to go there before kindergarten. She has been to multiple daycare centers and this is the one she liked the best and learnt the most. They really do care about the children.
