She incorporates lots of outdoor play time in her beautiful backyard, and takes the kids on daily walks around the neighbourhood with a four-seat stroller. They spend time reading books, singing songs, doing crafts and playing in two different play spaces. Moni believes in play-based learning and there are no screens or devices-everything is hands on.
Moni provides all snacks (always a daily variety of fresh fruit, cheese, crackers, yogurt etc. ) and lunch twice per week (homemade, full of protein & veggies).
Most importantly, Moni treats the kids with such deep care & respect. She meets kids where they are at emotionally, rocking them to sleep whenever needed, being flexible with nap schedules, and using gentle reminders and positive language to facilitate positive social skills.
We feel so fortunate to have found Moni. -

(April 11, 2018, 3:48 am)My daughter absolutely loves it here, it is a home away from home. Monica is so nurturing and truely moulds the whole daycare experience around what is best for the kids in her care. The daycare name really does say it all!
