Michele is a marriage saver and a miracle worker. We were forced into redecorating after a fire in our apartment building. Michele took what was, for us, an overwhelming task and guided us through so many decisions. She could always explain what would work, what wouldn't, and why. Even when we were at odds about something as simple as, which artwork should go where, we learnt to let Michele decide because she saw what we didn't. Our apartment has come together so well. Our friends say that it looks like it should be in a magazine - not because it is high gloss but because it is well curated, warm and cosy, and because it uniquely reflects who we are. We love being in our home and, quite simply, it would be what it is without Michele.

Michele came highly recommended to me from a friend. She was fun, professional, and took the time to get clear on what I was envisioning for my bathroom renovation. Michele made great suggestions, her connections with suppliers was so appreciated and I loved not having to run all over. The plans and ideas were all presented to me and she explained why she thought they would work or why they would not if I ran something by her that I was thinking of. I could not be happier with my bathroom and love walking in there and still going "Wow"! Thank you Michele.

Michele is a wonderful interior designer that took us every step of the way through our condo makeover. At the personal level, we found her to be upbeat, full of ideas, flexible, reliable and punctual. Obviously, a pleasure to work with.

Our project started with a discussion with Michele about the things we would be looking for in our makeover. From there, Michele produced design concepts for each room which we discussed with her and then she modified as appropriate. She then put together plans to take to our strata council to request their approval. The Council proved difficult to deal with but Michele persevered and used her experience and charm to get the plans approved. At the planning stage, we were impressed that Michele not only made sure that furnishings would fit with proper traffic flow but also that any unused space would find a creative use.

As the work went ahead, Michele used her experience and contacts to source all the suppliers and tradesmen needed for the job. She introduced us to a general contractor as well as many others including cabinet maker, counter top maker, tile setter, glass company and painter. She was in frequent contact with the general contractor to ensure that the right tradespeople would be available when needed. She was there as the work proceeded ensuring that it was moving ahead, met quality standards and was in accordance with the planning. She was also of huge assistance in sourcing materials, plumbing and lighting fixtures and furniture. For things like tiles and paint, she brought us samples to look at and for other items her approach was to provide us with alternative web links that we could view online. She had a great eye for value in all of her sourcing work.

At the conclusion of the work, Michele was there to attend to all the finishing details. She identified deficiencies in the work that needed to be fixed, she assisted in placing furniture and area carpets and she even suggested locations for and hung our artwork.

So from start to finish, we were more than happy with everything Michele did for us. She took us through the project from start to finish and we are very pleased with the result. Highly recommended!

We can’t thank Michele enough for her design inspirations! We engaged Michele to help us choose new flooring for the main floor of our home. The floor needed to work well in the more formal living and dining areas, as well as in the kitchen and family room. Michele gave us expert advice and instilled the confidence we needed to come to a decision. We are so happy with the look and feel of our new floor!
After getting to know Michele we realized immediately she was the right person to help us with our other design questions. We asked for advice about updating our furnishings, hanging artwork and improving the lighting in our kitchen. Michele’s knowledge and guidance has been excellent in those areas as well. We greatly appreciated the effort Michele made providing us with suggestions and examples, and sourcing furnishings for us, as well as introducing us to a contractor to address our kitchen lighting needs.
We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Michele and are looking forward to an ongoing relationship. We will call Michele whenever we have design questions. We went through a major renovation and together with Michele, we visioned what our new space would look like. We wanted to incorporate our own culture and heritage and she was very open to it and had so many ideas. What I appreciate is that Michele would take time to listen and then provide ideas and collectively, we worked towards the final renovations. She is a great source of design knowledge and ideas. She is also open to suggestions and even if we suggest, it is not to say no, but rather , have you thought of this.
