(July 31, 2016, 6:28 pm)Squadron is the part of Air Cadet League of British Columbia and Canada. Originated back in 1953 and it is still very active. Children of ages 12-18 are involved in many activities: musical band, biathlon, drill team, field training exercises, first aid, range (air rifle) and for sure (as Air Cadets) - flying (both power and gliding).
During summer time kids could go to cadets summer camps anywhere in BC or Canada - for free (transportation included)! Uniform, trips to various places, all equipment, everything is provided - for free!
