(August 28, 2019, 12:15 am)Well, some ticketted TCP's aren't quite as qualified to deal with major downtown construction site traffic on busy sites as made out. I've had the gamut of 'just got my ticket' to experienced but show up with truck and few supplies and need to 'borrow equipment'' to complete their phase of the traffic plan. When ordering be specific if willing to accept 'new' flaggers and have time to teach the ropes or high profile & very busy location where you need someone who can handle anything and can be proactive - not everyone can be at the top of the seniority list... Have had a couple good TCP's but road supervisors need to spend more time with newer workers assessing their skill set and less time focussed on & distracting your experienced staff who are putting in the effort.

I didn’t feel like a number, they valued me, my work ethic and were always helpful with advice. I gain experience as a traffic control supervisor there and the support from health and safety was amazing. I would tell anyone who wants a job flagging to go with universal group, they truly care :)

Have always very responsive to email inquiries, Traffic Management Plans, and coordinating TCP for work required, even on short notice. Since it is their area of expertise, I appreciate all the help we have received in educating us on what is required as well. We have always been very pleased with everyone we have encountered. And look forwarded to a continued business relationship.
