For those who come across this, if you have home videos on VHS that are seemingly irrepairable and think that all hope is lost for ever recovering them, fear not. Hope is not lost at all, because Triwest will restore that hope in your home videos and more.

After unintentionally damaging parts of 2 precious home video cassette tapes when inserted in a VCR player (one having some crinkled tape spewed out of the case, the other with an unresponsive spool after leaving it in the VCR - my mistake!), I had wanted to badly to have them repaired and transferred after learning the lesson the hard way (And even trying to fix them myself, and that didn't work out). After looking up video repair and transfer companies near me, I found Triwest Audio Visual Ltd. and looked at their website on what their services were and reviews from customers who have gone there previously. All the reviews were POSITIVE, and all are TRUE! My dad took these videos originally just for repair and the owner of the establishment, Tony, who has been professional and incredible with EVERYTHING about our situation, explained that these tapes that I thought were done for COULD BE REPAIRED and that he was able to transfer them to DVD within the span of 3 weeks (although he got them done MUCH SOONER in just 2 weeks or under, which was wonderful). Were the VHS tapes repaired? YES they were and they’re working perfectly. Were the DVDs done? YES they were, AND the quality on it is WAY BETTER than our original home video footage. On top of that, the price for the repairs and the DVD transfers were very reasonable, kind on the budget, and best of all, ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. To anyone who want professional services for transferring precious home videos to DVD or digitally, Tri-West Audio Visual is the place to go and Tony is the perfect guy for the job! I recommend this establishment 110%!

A huge THANK-YOU to Tony for your incredible service and all the hard work you put, going above and beyond into repairing AND transferring our home videos!

A very satisfied and eternally grateful customer,

    Kylie F.

They did a transfer from an old Sony digital 8 tape made by a family friend, to a playable (.avi) file on a USB drive. This tape contained a real family treasure of which we only had a poor VHS copy and no 8mm player or camera and the maker has, sadly, passed away. Now we can enjoy and share this memory from 33 years ago.
Definitely recommended for great service and reasonable price.

We are so happy with the results of our experience with Tony and Jenny of Triwest Audio-Visual in Burnaby and highly recommend their services to all.

We had 5000+ feet of 8mm silent film from the 70's and 80's to be updated into flash drives and Tony completed this large project in a timely, professional manner and gave us a quality product at a fair price.

    Specifically, Tony
    is an experienced professional
    gives excellent customer service
is an attentive listener to his customer's needs while respectfully explaining the realities and offering alternatives for the project
enhanced the movie images where possible to improve the viewing quality
added appropriate music to wedding sequences free of charge because it made it more special (it certainly did! Thank you!)
separately packaged the multiple copies of flash drives in a neatly titled and logo'd clear holder
completed all the processing and final product in a relatively short time frame
gave us a fair price for such professional work.

We are absolutely looking forward to gifting these flash drives to our grown-up children and our siblings this Christmas to bring back joyful childhood memories.

    Thank you Tony and Jenny.

I contacted Triwest because, like a lot of people, we had some precious video content locked inside some old technology (VHS). We wondered if they could possibly convert the content to something current--so we could send it to our. family. Yes they could. Yes they could do it within a week. Yes the price was good--as low as anyone we spoke to. The result was perfect and we feel we not only got EXPERT service, we got genuinely kind and understanding service. Bravo Triwest. We recommend you with no hesitation.
