SUSHI BOX

We are super excited for this new restaurant coming to our hood! It is much brighter than the previous one, and the staffs are friendly! This is our third time dining here. Sushi are very fresh and at the right size to get the right balance of taste, tempura sushi is creative! But we want to give the beat compliment to Tempura mix, they are airy, crispy, and VERY fresh. The edamame beans are crunchy too, not over cooked! Perhaps the only complaint is the Tori Karaage (deep fried juicy boneless chicken) - over cooked and a bit dry.
Overall, we are happy at this restaurant! By the way, I'll recommend ordering Family combo B, at $50 that's a huge volume and good variety and for 2 people - It is a very good value if you think of the a decent foodcourt meal nowadays will set you back by $15-$16 and a foodtruck meal will be around $20. The photos were taken after we had a few bites, and I forgot to take photo of the salad dish.

No wonder why the place is highly rated! Foods were very fresh and tasty. Server was kind and also the owner was super friendly. Compared to other similar places, the price seems to be around 20% lower than the average. Will definitely come back😃

I am a sushi lover. This place is one of the best place in the area. No complaint at all.

This was my first time I have been to this restaurant and I will def come back here again.
I like that there was less rice with lots of filling inside for the rolls. Plus pretty decent sized tempras with reasonable price as well. Sashimi tastes fresh. Server was super kind too.
Their take out box and bag are eco-friendly. I especially like their reusable take out bag made out of cloth. Very sturdy, I"ll probably use it for grocery shopping too :)

Only one thing, the crunch roll didn't have
any sauce on it, I felt like something was missing while eating the roll. If there was some sauce on it as spicy mayo or others, it would be nicer. Other than that everything was very satisfied. The main enter interior is pretty cute and nice too.

Expensive, small servings. The restaurant decor and branded packaging/eco bags are percectly nice. The food was pleasant, though the tuna seemed less fresh. I couldn't feed 3 people from a 50$ order and had to cook extra at home to supplement. The menue has some weird pricehikes: like adding +1.30$ to the base cost of the tuna roll seems very high just to add some green onion and make it a negitoro roll. The 12$ spicy tuna Special roll was physically smaller than a plain California roll. 7$ for 4 little pieces of agedashi tofu, with a cup of spicy sauce on the side, photo attached. The food value for the cost is disappointing. The prices to dine-in/takeout resemble downtown Vancouver or Ubereats delivery-inclusive online pricing. I anticipate sticking to other more economical options instead of returning.
