(January 24, 2023, 4:25 am)Our group of 6 girlfriends had the most relaxing memorable experience of a two night weekend at the beautiful Modern Cabin of the Hummingbird Oceanside Suites. We booked it for a special occasion and were warmly greeted with special touches for the occasion. The cabin is very spacious, newly furnished and tastefully decorated and we had the best view ahead of us from the inside and the outdoor jacuzzi. Just like in a hotel all necessities were provided, including amazing local shower body and hair products and the most comfortable bedding.
The island is small but has quite a few unique shops and dining out places and beautiful outdoors sightseeing and trails. We came from Vancouver and we absolutely recommend the Hummingbird Oceanside suits for a getaway destination and are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much! -

(January 3, 2023, 1:49 am)We just spent 2 amazing nights here. It provides everything you need for a relaxing stay - hot tub, sauna, ocean front, views, all while immersed in nature. Great hosts. Very close to lots of restaurants and cafes. Super clean, comfy beds, big suites. Definitely coming back!!!

(September 29, 2022, 1:45 pm)Melissa and Dom run a fantastic establishment. We were welcomed with great hospitality and enjoyed our stay celebrating our anniversary. The view from property and the suites is outstanding and is a must see. Dom was just installing the brand new barrel sauna and had it up and ready before we left but we were too attached to the hot tub with the ocean view! The place was neat and tidy when we arrived and had everything we needed for our short stay. We have marked the HummingBird Suites as one of the best places we have stayed and will be our first choice when we come back to Bowen island. Thanks again!

(August 22, 2022, 6:00 pm)This place is an amazing getaway spot, perfect for a night or an extended stay. It was exactly what I needed this past weekend. We stayed two nights but could have easily spent a week recharging. A short ferry ride from Vancouver and we found ourselves in a suite perched on Eastern shore of Bowen Island, with priceless views. The hummingbird suites were quiet, clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. A comfy bed, perfect hot tub and easy ocean access on the property were huge pluses. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back in a flash. Be sure to book in advance as it gets full well in advance. Looking forward to my next trip soon!
