They make the best drinks and the Ox tail dinner is the absolute best. A definite go to for really good food.

This restaurant is hands down anazing. The food is always fresh and fantastic and the service is pleasant and quick. I enjoy the many vegetarian dishes (my Boyfriend usually has the Jerk Chicken or goat) as well as the music. I especially like the servers anyways happy and pleasant to deal with. Fantastic place.

I find it odd that the most recent review is a bad one (Christina Winter - and yet she has only one review, so I gather she simply set up a profile to complain). This restaurant is a family run, hidden gem. The food is incredible and the staff are genuine, I have never had a bad experience here, nor has anyone else that I know. If you come here expecting fine dining, wrong place. Also - fine dining would be disappointing compared to the quality of this best kept secret in Surrey. And since when does someone named Winter have any expertise in island culinary experiences... ????
Check this place out. It’s amazing!

    TL:DR
Fantastic food, comfortable atmosphere, great service. $51 for two sides, two entrees, and tip, worth every penny.

We had the Goat Curry, Jerk Chicken, Beef Patty, and Deep Fried Plantains. The plantains were fairly sweet not-bananas, fried but not crispy. The Patty was unbelievable. flaky pastry, delicious beef, and the right mix of dry and wet ingredients. Surprisingly, as it was my first time eating legit Jamaican food, I found the Jerk Chicken to not be terribly spicy but absolutely delicious. Both entrees came with a Jonny Ball, a deep fried dough ball, thick and tasty. The Goat Curry was melting off the bone, flavourful, average spice levels. The entrees also came with a different side salad and rice with beans which complimented both meals considerably. The guy working the counter/bar was super cool, very easy to talk to and charismatic. I'll have a hard time not going in anytime I'm uptown.

I was warned that it was hot when I ordered...I told him I'm married to a Jamaican and he said "enough said"...the food was so good! I will definitely go back! Hot water and ginger was great! It is really good. Try the ginger beer and oxtail. You won't regret it. Extra characters. Extra characters. Extra characters.Extra characters. Extra characters. Excellent Jamaican pies. Lots of flavour.. perfect spice. Tucked away little gem... great snack to grab and enjoy a walk
