It's a good hike, could be done with young children or slower walkers, but also the option to extend by using the second loop. The AllTrails app is useful for keepoing track of where you are, sometimes you could lose the trails easily without a map when on an extended walk.

Easy trail that's dog and kid friendly. It's not particularly long or steep, and you can go round trip in 2-3 hours.

The parking lot is close to the highway and passes underneath the bridge at the start of the hike. Parking is free but somewhat limited.

The payoff is Whyte Lake. There's a small dock that you can swim off of, but not much waterfront access otherwise. You can walk around to the opposite side of the lake and there's some beach access there.

Great place, especially with dogs. Not for strollers or non hikers. The lake is no swimming and not many places to stop along the way very narrow. No cell service either.

A popular and relatively easy (for the North Shore) 5km round-trip hike, locals are friendly and use this trail for walking the dogs and getting in an outdoor workout. The trail meanders along a creek much of the way, which is a nice treat, but it's in the forest all the way apart from the lake at the end of the trail, so don't expect too any viewpoints.

A nice and easy hike that can be enjoyed by most. I wish the lake was more clear. Don't think I would swim here. Go to cabin lake for that.
