  Spanish banks is a nice place to go and relax. There ample parking and a walking trail along the water. There's a public washroom and concession stand open during the warmer seasons. The concession stand chef could be a little more friendly. I ordered a burger in the summer and was sitting with my baby in the shade under a tree. When he called my number it took me a couple of minutes to get over there. I then tried to get his attention to pick up my burger and he basically ignored me. When he finally came back to the window with someone else's order I asked for mine and he was very annoyed with me. I didn't need that attitude over a frozen burger he had to heat up.

  This place is great we went to the dog zone and played with our dog , she really had a lot of good exercise and interactions with other dogs. Don't forget to pickup droppings and leave it clean go the next visitors

  Beautiful expansive beach with views of the north shore mountains, English Bay and the city skyline in the background. This beach is a city favorite for families to enjoy. Parking may be an issue so get there early to beat the rush. Also parking is now pay parking so beware of the restrictions. Otherwise, still a great beach especially in the summer when the tide is out, you can literally enjoy a long walk to the water's edge and maybe view some herons hunting their food source at low tide!

  Had a great time here when the weathers nice. I had a potluck with some friends and it was really great. It was low tide when I walked by the beach and it was really nice to walk on the sand.

  Beautiful walk by the ocean! Paved pathway, separated bike and walking lanes, stunning views of the North shore mountains and the ocean-going freighters. Occasional cafes and washroom facilities. Towards town there's a pier that crab fishing locals frequent. There's even a doggie beach west of here that is very popular! Be sure to bring a windbreaker for the ocean breezes. One of the best things to do in Vancouver on a sunny day!!
