  I'm now on my 3rd round with Team 1 from the Midwifery Group, and couldn't be happier. Since my first birth in 2014, my second in 2016, and now this baby, due Jan 2019, I have received caring, understanding, and personalized attention from each and every staff.
  Starting at the reception desk, the ladies at the front are prompt and professional, but for some reason (that I love), I always end up laughing by the end of the conversation. I look forward to our interactions.
  Although "my" team has had a few staffing changes over the last 5 years, the core group of Candace, Tracy, Andrea, and Laurie, has been nothing short of excellent. I've also had a number of students, and a couple other midwives who have fit in wonderfully.
  These incredible women have supported me through 2 homebirths, a miscarriage, a friend's miscarriage, and life with a newborn (x2).
  From the 24/7 availability by phone, the home visits after birth (my God, who wants to pack up a brand new baby and take them out to an office? Especially in the middle of winter!?), the incredible knowledge they collectively share, and just the feeling of being in extremely competent hands, I would NEVER go elsewhere for my prenatal care.

  I've had truly wonderful experiences with the Midwifery Group for both of my pregnancies and births over the past few years. I worked with team 1 both times, with my second birth in the past month, and found everyone lovely, knowledgable, and so calming and informative. I have nothing but good things to say about the midwives and the reception team.
  
  I noticed a couple of negative reviews left by people who left a message to get booked in but didn't actually get to deal with anyone at the Midwifery Group; when I called in early in my recent pregnancy last summer, the outgoing message noted that I should call again if I don't hear back within a few days, so although they did call me back, if anyone else doesn't hear back after leaving a message, call again in case something went wrong with your message!

  My wife Louise and I loved every minute of our experience with The Midwifery Group! We felt welcomed, supported and empowered by the entire team and looked forward to every visit. Appointment times were ample and so we felt relaxed, never once rushed and were able to ask whatever was on our minds without any judgement.
  
  We had the joy of being with Team 1 - Andrea, Anna, Laurie and Tracy, and felt so at ease with each of them. Andrea attended our birth and was a serene presence, offering guidance precisely where needed and enabling us to actively partake in every decision along the way.
  
  We found the postpartum visits invaluable. We left the hospital feeling so confident, knowing that we had a visit the very next day.
  
  Erin and Jen do an excellent administrative job! Scheduling was made easy since they were always a step ahead, voicemails were swiftly returned, notes were written promptly (for my work) and any outside appointments such as labs, scans etc. were made seamless. These ladies went the extra mile for us and always with a warm, friendly smile.
  
  We truly were in expert hands with The Midwifery Group. They are all clearly passionate about the care they provide and we are so happy we chose them for this journey to meet our daughter.
  
  We can whole-heartedly recommend them.

  My wife, Rachel and I were blessed to have Team 1 consisting of Andrea, Candace, Laurie, Tracy and student, Stephanie involved in our baby's care. I felt as a soon to be dad, these remarkable ladies never pushed their own agendas on us and supported us in our own decision making process with regards to birth plan. No request or question that we brought forward, no matter how moronic they might have sounded, was turned away. They shared our sense of excitement in our moments of joy and held our hands when our confidence wavered. They fought with the admin for us to stay in the hospital, when after 48+ hours of early labour my wife wasn't quite ready to deliver, but was "done" with having another contraction at home. They were there for us when we received news that we would need an emergency C-section. They held Rachel's hand and my own in our most vulnerable moments. It has now been a week since birth and we are at home, and we continue to receive visits from Team 1 to ensure that both mama and baby are ok.
  
  I might sound a little biased in writing this review but having a team of advocates, hand holders, and birth gurus in our corner was exactly what my wife and I needed. So thank you Laurie and Candace for being quick to visit us at home when mama was going through those contractions. Thanks Andrea for fighting for us to get into the hospital and holding our hands during the birthing process when it seemed like every other couple without midwife support was getting turned away. Thank you Tracy, Stephanie, Andrea, and Candace for checking in with us each morning following delivery to ensure that we were doing ok.
