All three of our children have now attended happy corner. Hisae has a true gift with young children and their parents alike. We would recommend Happy Corner to any parent interested in providing an enriching play based wonderful preschool experience.
The school follows the philosophy that young children develop best when their adults participate in their lives. I have to say it seems to work for my kids, who are shy and wary of new people and situations - they quickly developed rapport with the wonderful teachers, and the confidence to learn and explore the world at a pace that's just right for them. The monthly speaker series (free for members, $10 for non-members) I'm sure would soon become a staple in local parenting circles. They have hosted such greats as Debbie McNamara and Chris Burt.
