We had Kelsey and Heba team. We moved to Vancouver from the island for our "high risk" birth at st Paul's hospital. We had midwifery care as part of shared care with the obstetrical and cardiac team at the hospital. Heba and Kelsey worked really well with the hospital team but more importantly helped us prepare physiological birth. We had more interventions than we wanted or more than what most people have but Heba and Kelsey helped make the birth feel natural and empowered dispite all the interventions. They continued post partum and were super supportive in helping us with our growth restricted baby. Also thank you Gina and the whole team at Bloom.

Bloom is the best!! I love it here. This is my second time having the midwives at bloom provide my prenatal care. They are just awesome.
The office is friendly and welcoming. The midwives are knowledgeable, thorough and kind.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is pregnant or trying to conceive.

Having my first baby with Bloom Midwifery was the best decision!! What a wonderful and pleasant experience I had. They went above and beyond to provide the best care, knowledge, support and love throughout my pregnancy and 6 weeks postpartum (and especially during the labour). I am extremely greatful for the work they do, and will recommend them to anyone in a heart beat!!!

I am forever thankful for the care I received from the compassionate, highly skilled midwives at Bloom Community Midwives. They were extremely supportive throughout my pregnancy, during my baby’s birth, and into postpartum. They provided me with options and choices and always gave me enough information to feel confident in my decisions.

Although I was terrified to give birth, Rashmi’s patience, and calm, supportive presence helped put me at ease. I couldn’t be more grateful to have her there with me. She never left my side throughout labour and my daughter’s birth.

Postpartum home visits from Rashmi, Bianca, and Katherina were wonderful, especially since they came during the busy Christmas holiday season. I can’t imagine how I would have survived this time in my life without their guidance and help. They were so compassionate, understanding, and always available to me (even when I called off hours for help with breastfeeding advice!). They extended such genuine concern in my, and my family’s, well-being.

If you are researching midwives, go to Bloom! I seriously love these women and miss them tremendously now that I’m no longer under their care! They are AMAZING!!

Bloom Midwives gave us support, peace of mind and care. Having them in our prenatal and postnatal was the best decision we made. They are attentive, professional, the appointments are never in a rush, they kept us well informed and respected our decisions. We're deeply grateful for all they did for us amd highly recommend them.
