Hojang Barbecue 火匠

Great atmosphere, friendly service with delicious food! The meat is super fresh and you have the option to get your meat into thick or thin cuts. Must try their thin beef tongue, butter clams with sake and the amazing pasta they have. Would definitely come back and recommend HOJANG to family and friends!

Food is pretty good, but the price-quality-quantity balance is a bit off (really nice quality meats, but portions are really small for the price).
Also, very disappointing that ZERO side dishes come with your meal unless you pay extra. Never heard a Korean place not give at least the first round of sides free.
Ambiance is nice, very modern, and hidden find feel to it.
A decent variety on the menu, but if you're not looking to spend an exorbitant amount of money, then you're choices are slim.
As good as the food is, I don't see this place lasting long the way they are right now. It's located (Alexandria Rd) in a place with so many good eats (and waaaay better value), I'm not surprised that the place was more than half empty during prime dinner time (6:30pm-8pm).

Its Korean BBQ mainland Chinese style. Side dishes are charged.

The grill is heated with steam which is pretty cool. We had beef which was marinated in something that brings out the flavor nicely. It was very mainland tasting.

Kind of expensive and it was ok but I don't think we'll come back.

Great food, great service and exceptional environment! Prices of foods and drinks are affordable. If you are looking for a great place to dine, try this and you won't regret.
