April has a wide scope of education and experience and is very intuitive in therapy.
April is an absolutely wonderful Clinical Counselor that I highly recommend. She is kind-hearted, professional, knowledgeable...and hands down can hold space like no one I've ever met! I'm grateful to have stumbled upon her website and her work. She truly is different and has helped me shift things I didn't know could be shifted.
The body-based approach that she uses is hugely helpful. I didn't have to relive my traumas or anything like that. Instead, she helped provide a safe container for me to explore sensations that came up and to process what arose in a slow, yet powerful way. It allowed me to realize some deep insights about myself and my past that I truly believe wouldn't have happened with a more typical approach. If you've got something 'stuck' in your life, feel anxious, want to process a difficult life event, or really even just for self-care, I highly recommend April Lies!
