If you want something sugar coated, Dr. Diamond may not be for you. If you want a first class surgeon with extensive knowledge and who will give it to you straight, Dr. Diamond is the surgeon to see.
I wish I could rate him a 10. by 2009 I was a mouth breather, no smell no taste, divorce worthy snorer with periodic killer headaches. took a few years after I started my journey with Dr Diamond but just had an exam it's been 5 years symptom free. My quality of life is so vastly improved and I'm still married. Reading throu the reviews the complaints about bedside manner, well Dr Diamond is a straight shooter, he warned me about the difficult road I was going to have to take to achieve a 'new normal' and he had expectations from me to carry my own weight and follow the program.
Proof is in the pudding my life is great and he played a huge part in this. can't thank him enough!!!!
I almost have to chuckle at the some of the negative reviews. It amazes me how self involved people can be. Dr Diamond is very thorough..hence the reason he may take longer or be delayed..taking him to the college because he wont acknowledge you had a fever? ABSURD! go back to other drs if they will speculate with you. And remember if those other drs did know what they were talking about they wouldnt refer you to him. If you need to be coddled and cant be objective and put your own ego aside then dont waste his time and take valuable time away from patients who are desperate to see him. Yes there is a shortage of drs..why would he have to acknowledge that, it is clear. So he and petra are trying to manage that the best they can, something no one can comment on if they have never done their jobs. After botched multiple surgeries from other drs i finally have my life back after being under the care of Dr Diamond. Go in with an open mind and listen to what his advice is, you will be better for it. Respect and you will be respected. Dr Diamond and Petra are a fantastic team.
I think that this doctor/surgeon knows his area well and has had many successful outcomes as a result of his procedures; nevertheless I think that because there are shortages of ENT specialists here, he is, by all accounts, run off his feet. He would do well to acknowledge this, as his chairside manner could use work. He is so rushed that he curtails explanations and thus causes a patient to feel more like a car that had to have its muffler scoped!
Dr. Diamond has straight forward approach and he really knows his stuff. He performed a very successful surgery to correct my deviated septum and open up my nasal passage. He did an amazing job! I can’t say enough good things about him and his quality of work. If you follow his directions, you will likely have success. He’s changed my life for the better.
