(February 10, 2019, 4:37 pm)Walked in over the railroad tracks in the rain to find a cozy pub with great food. Killer Grilled Cheese with Sloppy Joes, soup and onion rings were the comfort food we were craving. Great selection of beers including one of my favourites, Dark Matter. Finished off with a dessert coffee B52. Staff was attentive and we enjoyed playing Keno on a comfy couch. What a gem in Fort Langley!

(February 6, 2019, 1:08 am)This is usually a good place to eat and I guess for the other three in our group it was fine.
I ordered the fish and chips, paying extra for the healthier version of chips, sweet potato. My chips were dripping with oil, in fact I used several ( actually about 6) paper napkins to blot them as dry as I could. I thought that the waiter, when he saw the pile of oil laden napkins, would volunteer to bring me another order. That's what I get for thinking and not complaining! By the way, my fish wasn't much better.
Next time we eat at the Beatnik Cafe, excellent food and when there is an error they jump right on it and get it corrected -
