(April 8, 2018, 5:44 pm)A small regional park on Barnston island that has nice views of the fraser river. There is a nice picnic area and toilets. The park is part of Barnston island regional park that also includes Mann Point rest area. It is best to leave car in Surrey Bend regional park and walk on the free ferry with bicycle. Total distance around Barnston island is 20 KM so a bicycle would help. It is possible to drive on and around Barnston island, but there is no parking in Robert Point or Mann Point so you can't park for more than a few minutes. Stopping for brief time should be fine.
