I loved it, it's was refreshing walking through the bamboo the man who helped me let me explore and still have extremely helpful information, I highly suggest coming and checking it out

Great selection and customer service. I had an issue with a plant I bought from them and they were most helpful in rectifying the issue.

A very specialised nursery but if your looking for bamboo to be an exotic element in your garden or to create a hedge barrior...There were so many types..like black bamboo or other species with large 4 to 5 in diameter stock. Important to know what you would like the bamboo to do..
Also how to contain it so it doesn't spread, or direct it into form fence. Another thing to ask is the hardiness of the plants.
The staff here showed me my preferences and answered all my questions as well as loaded to car. Loved the experience.

I love Bamboo World! If bamboo interests you, this is a farm that specializes in just that! Having lived and studied at universities in both China and Thailand, I grew to enjoy the natural beauty and diversity of bamboo plants, and their many uses as a renewable source of timber. Upon returning back to British Columbia, I was shocked to learn how well bamboo grew here.. and in such diversity! Admittedly, this review may be a little biased, as I began working here once I had returned from China, and upon finishing university in Canada was promoted to manager; however, the main reason for the post is to respond to the previous review. I personally spoke to the man on the phone, and remember the conversation well. He asked me if we had bamboo over 10 feet tall, and I replied: "Of course! We have bamboo that is 40 feet tall!" When he arrived the next day, he asked for a specific variety of bamboo. I told him that the potted plants of that variety were between 6-8 feet tall, then I showed him our mature prize grove of the same variety, and mentioned that even after 6 years of nurturing the grove, we had only just surpassed 10 feet. I mentioned that the variety desired was not available anywhere in Canada at that height, and I apologized if there had been a miscommunication on the phone. He then declined my offer to take a look at the availability of the very plants we had available which he drove from Vancouver to see!
