  These guys are awesome. We caught 14 sturgeon on a 6 hour trip and our guide Istvan was first class! Istvan was happy to talk about the river and all the techniques to catch these ancient dinosaurs. Highly recommend spring and fall times as both trips I have gone out with them it was non stop action :)

  Early Sunday morning fishing with Landon. In the lead up, the office made sure we had all of our permits. We grabbed some sandwiches for lunch before hitting the river. Once in the boat, he quickly covered safety and then the day started. We caught almost 100' of fish including a 6'5" and a 6'7" Sturgeon by 2pm. The boat has chest-waders for those epic photos. Don't expect to do anything the next day because your arms will be sore from reeling and you'll be useless. Excellent activity for corporate team building.

  Had an amazing first time fishing Sturgeon with the Big Man him self “Deano” at Great River Fishing. He’s a true entertainer and excellent guide. Never a boring moment even when we wait (for a short bit) for the dinosaurs to bid. His guidence with a Fish on the hook helped up land our boats crew all the largest fish we have all caught. The detailed and tailored guiding Dean showed made for a very Personal experience. Nothing wrong with catching 15+ sturgeon and 4 over 6 feet long. That’s what 3 days of fishing with professionals will get you.

  Absolutely outstanding trip. Highly recommend to both experienced and non experienced. A very large shout out to our guide landon, truly one of the best. Hope to see you again.

  Thank you Dean for the wonderful morning of sturgeon fishing ! Even though we only saw sturgeon the weather was perfect and it was so interesting to hear about fishing on the Fraser and your experiences over the years. I would highly recommend Great River and can't wait to do it again!
