Having back complications with recurrent low back pain, I went to see Max for 3 sessions to date. My problems date back to 2002 when I had a car accident. This year in addition (2021), I fell on the ice and the problems reappeared. In just 3 therapeutic massage visits, I feel so much better and yet I have seen massage therapists since 2002. Honestly, no one can match Max's ankle to treat back pain. To try it is to adopt it.

His holistic approach to massage therapy may , at times, seem counterintuitive (working on areas of your body that aren’t immediately connected to your injury)- but his results are indisputable: if you place your trust in Max Bourque, be honest about what you are, or aren’t, comfortable with, and follow his instructions once he’s decided on a course of action, you WILL start feeling better, and getting better.
Communication is key: Max takes the time to get to evaluate his patients’ needs before he begins any session- this is in stark contrast to many massage therapists I’ve seen in the past who barely took the time to ask me what the problem was before staring the session, and couldn’t get me out of the room fast enough once the session was over.
Max will take his time with his patients: there were plenty of occasions where we went a little past the allotted session time because he hadn’t yet achieved whatever goal he had set for himself , and he never charged me a penny more for the extra time.
His prices are very competitive, and he even makes house calls.
Highest recommendation- deal with confidence.

Needs better drainage, sad people don't pick up after their dog
Homeless people living in the bush at some spots and their garbage is piling up. Have complained to the city we will see what happens.
Can be busy in the off leash area, but otherwise great spot.
A great walk or cycle. Some flat stretches and a few hills.
