(May 2, 2023, 2:53 pm)We had Josh install 2 fireplaces in our place this spring. He will be coming back to do the masonry work as well once I complete the framing. He was friendly, professional, hard working and thorough discussing each step with us as he worked. Once he put us in his busy schedule he showed up on time and completed the work in the 2 days he estimated and at the estimated cost. We look forward to working with Josh on the masonry as well as enlisting him for annual chimney cleaning for years to come. If you can get into his busy schedule, I definitely recommend him!

Josh was easy to work with and provided us with great guidance on choosing the right stove and set up for our situation, while staying in our budget. The final result turned out great, we are very happy with it.

He was quick with the install and very informative with how to run the stove. He even took care of an issue he found in our masonry of our chimney from past years of wear and tear. He also came back to help us with additional questions we had and tested the dampness of our wood we were burning. I can't say enough amazing things about his service. Would highly recommend Kootenay Masonry if you want an install that is done right!

He was patient, knowledgeable and was able to explain clearly the important issues regarding my fireplace and masonry unit.
