Lido Motel

This motel was fantastic! My husband and I stayed here after spending the day in Kootenay National Park and I’m so glad we did. The owners are phenomenal and the rooms are spacious, well maintained and incredibly clean. When I say clean, I mean this is one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed in. The location is about a minute further off the main road coming out of Kootenay, but it is well worth the little extra drive. This motel is 10/10 and you won’t be disappointed when staying here.

Was surprised we were able to get our whole family in! Has everything you need and quiet at night. And a kitchenette! Good deal, not modern by any standard but that’s also part of the charm.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't stayed in a motel for many years.

The place was awesome, the rooms were super cozy and had literally everything I needed. It's definitely an area that is safe and an easy walk to wherever you need to go. I actually thought that this was a better stay than my previous visit to a hotel in Kananaskis Village.

The owner (Rob) was a really good guy - He made the stay as comfortable as possible, provided helpful tips on where to eat for dinner and some cool places to visit.

There are definitely some great amenities too, they had a fire pit and plenty of sitting areas outside - If you want to BBQ, you can - If you'd like to place some games in the garden, they have that as well.

Overall, a great stay!

We didn’t know what to expect of our stay at the Lido, but they over delivered! What a great experience, the tiny motel offered a simplicity that we don’t often experience anymore. The motel is old school and where it lacks modern finishing it makes up for it 100% with the details - usb charging, small amenity details like popcorn, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a kitchenette equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend!! Thank you!

This is an experience of my dad.
He booked this hotel for just one day on June 23rd. The owner man, who had a very good impression from the beginning, eventually moved my dad's heart. My dad lost the sunglasses in the hotel that he received as a gift from my brother. It was very small in volume which was foldable. And when he called the hotel, the owner had already cleaned and said he would look for the sunglasses again, and then, after finding a small object stuck between the bed frames, he called my dad. My dad was so grateful for the owner's service and thoughtfulness and he told me to use this hotel whenever I go to Radium Hot Springs in the future. It was a hotel where towels were very clean and guidance were very well done. Thank you again to the hotel owner and I also want to stay at this hotel next time.
