(June 9, 2023, 7:03 pm)You get to take a small train and go underground into the mine.Bring your jacket,it might be 30C outside but underground it is cold.There were small children on my tour and they were screaming,crying and it made it hard to hear the miner talking.NOT A PLACE FOR KIDS UNDER 5.Older kids are fine.

(June 6, 2023, 8:37 pm)Our two young boys quite enjoy the train ride and as a result, this tourist attraction has become something on an regular occurrence on our annual camping trip to Kimberley. The ride takes about 45 minutes to complete and if you have time, I would suggest taking the mine & powerhouse tour option, as the internal workings of both is quite interesting.

(May 22, 2022, 9:22 pm)A very awesome tour I highly recommend going for the extended tour. You actually get out and see the equipment that was used and some of the tunnels built underground.
