Ty and her staff are amazing. They always take great care to ensure the safety and security of your pet. They understand temperament and which dogs are good together. My dogs are always excited to go to playcare and come home happy and tired. I trust Ty and all in her employ implicitly with my boys and know that care about them as much as I do. Highly recommend.

Our two dogs stay regularly at Kootenay Canine and always come back happy and well excersized. They love going out to play for daycare days when I am busy or working. We recently had them stay for a month while we travelling and didn’t have to worry once about their care. Ty took the time to update us and send pictures so we could enjoy our travels without worrying about our dogs. Thanks for taking such good care of them Kootenay canine!

This is the only place you need to know when it comes to the care and happiness of your beloved pets. I was out of country and long term boarded my dog with them for the first time. She had a great time with the crew of Kootenay canine. Ty and her team are top notch and left me with good vibes and less stress about leaving my pooch in someone’s care while I was travelling. The facility and level of care is astounding. It was obvious the moment I picked up my dog that she was happy, healthy, and she was going to miss her friends there. It is never easy leaving your dog with someone, especially when your dog is a "challenging" GSD. Ty and her team put us instantly at ease from the moment we arrived for our first meet and greet. It is readily evident they understand dogs and they truly enjoy working with them. The facilities at KCA are immaculate. They have invested a great deal of time and money making their place not only functional, but also confidence inspiring with its intelligent layout and clean appearance. All our questions and concerns were answered. They suggested we bring our dog out for a day before her first over-night. We highly recommend this approach as it familiarizes the animal with the kennel and the staff with the animal. It also put us at ease because we could use the day stay as a trial run before our dog's first over-night. Ty assured us all went well and she had no concerns about having our dog stay over-night. Our dog's first multi-day stay went great. Ty gave us updates and even sent pictures of our dog having fun out in the snow. We strongly recommend KCA to anyone in need of a kennel either for day care or extended stays.
