(May 13, 2018, 4:17 pm)Stepping up to the boardwalk and getting my first look at these trees was interesting. They're twisted, silent, and brittle looking but it was very peaceful even though it's right next to a busy road.

(February 7, 2017, 8:29 pm)A lot of work was done by people to protect this area. If you can get there in the springtime to see the wildflowers, it is worth it. They open to the public on occasion, so you have to go on a tour. Otherwise it is closed to the public.
