Cowichan Bay Kayaking and Adventure Centre

Well prepared. First time kayaking in Cowichan Bay. Booked ahead. Everything was ready to go. I was pleased to see that they outfitted my kayak with all the necessary gear including a paddle float for self-rescue and an extra paddle. They also gave me a good briefing on some of the wave conditions that I might experience on my way to Genoa Bay. The Seaward kayak I used was an awesome fit and in great condition. I really enjoyed the kayak and trip to Genoa Bay and back.

John is a great guide and know the estuary like the back of his hand. Fun time.

My husband and I received a moonlight paddle for a wedding shower gift. We live in Victoria so we normally wouldn't be out that late on a work night but it was well worth it. Jack was our guide and he was fantastic. Very friendly and informative sharing information about the local surroundings. I would recommend this company 100%. Their motto "Nice people to paddle with" is perfect for them.

We took a kayak course with Huw, the owner, a couple years ago and it was such a great experience that we come back every summer to rent kayaks and paddle in the Cowichan Bay. We've rented kayaks from at least 7 different companies in the region and Cowichan Bay Kayak is definitely the best one. I highly recommend this business and I believe that it's worth the drive from Victoria to discover this hidden gem that is Cowichan Bay.

Went for a kayak tour with relatives from Germany. Ended up enjoying it so much we needed to purchase a pair of kayaks. Tried buying used through the usual means (classified ads etc. to no avail.) Went back to CBK and purchased two 6 month old Seaward Kayaks. The customer service was outstanding. Custom fitted to the Kayaks and we use them extensively and are very pleased. We went back and bought wheels for each and again, the best service!
