  What a gem. You get great view and it is kind of tucked off the road to find. Food was good, not great but the best view around for sure. Service was good, the people nice anda warm place to fill your belly. .

  Take a short drive up the Malahat, drop into the dining room and enjoy some simple, hearty food in cheerful company with a great view. In our latest visit, the shepherd's pie with venison was a good meal and the caesar salad was a classically prepared, traditional recipe with well balanced flavours. Ending the meal, it's always a challenge to decide between homemade pie and cake. This time we went with a staff favourite, spinach cake. Tasty but next visit, it will be time for pie and most likely, the lemon meringue pie.

  Best dinner spot I've been to in the area. Beef brisket is to die for and lots of celiac options which is amazing!!! Big portions and a truly homemade feel. Staff are super friendly with endless excellent recommendations.

  Visited today, (Jan. 11/19) with my Mum on our way back from Victoria and had the most wonderful spread of seafood dishes we've ever had.. .. Bacon wrapped oysters... (these on recommendation from a fellow diners...) We had Salmon cakes.. The seafood chowder and clam chowder as well as there Spinach salad. SO GOOD! every bite was amazing. My mum is a retired chef and insisted on buying the chef Romeo a drink as this was one of the best seafood places we've tried! Our server was fast and friendly, and we can't wait to go back!
  
  Oh yeah... And the view is to die for!
