Was in quick need of a place to stay and the staff at Puntledge were more than happy to take us in. When we came on site we called the site phone number because the office was closed and in minutes we were at a campsite with bathroom codes and wifi password. Beautiful site! Will be staying again.

We have just completed 13 years of full time RVing around North America and settled here last April in a long term site. We love it here for its quiet country feeling even though we are only 15 minutes walking distance from downtown. Costco, Best Buy, Canadian Tire, Walmart, groceries etc. all nearby within 10 minutes by car. Sites are huge and the campground is next to the river for fishing, swimming or tubing. Mount Washington, Nymph Falls, many beaches and hiking trails are nearby to explore. Apparently a swimming pool and club house are in the future plans. The staff have been great to deal with.

We wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and finding this campsite last minute was a gamble. We decided to book for two weeks for partial hook up. Prior to booking we called them and asked for internet speed as we both had to work on line. They kindly checked the speed and we figured it will be good for us. The full hook ups on the top are a little bare and gravelly, but where we are at the lower level is very nice. Not a lot of trees on the site, which make them nice and bright and spacious, the sites are huge, so you have lots of space. If you want to be in the woods then this campsite is not for you. But if you want the quietness and vastness of just being in the presence of crickets, beautiful bees, and occasional hummingbirds this is a perfect spot. The staff are so amazing, the bathrooms are super clean, the campsite is not fully booked which I personally like because it feels like we are surrounded by quiet field. It is only 15 minutes walk from town, the river is literally 5 minutes walk over the bridge.
This is a hidden gem, and as much as I love for it to remain hidden from those who wrote stupid reviews and complained about petty things, but I like to see it busier, because I want these guys to be able to thrive so I can come back here again. ♥️ 💖 ❤️.
At the moment I am sitting in the sunshine and sipping my morning coffee and loving this place.

Wonderful little campground next to the river, but not so close that you have to worry about your kids falling in. The teenage helpers were polite and looked like they were enjoying their summer job. The manager was so gentle that I didn’t have any worry about doing something wrong that some “up tight” campground management makes me feel. Bathrooms were clean, store well stocked and noise level very family friendly. 5 star!

Stayed again this year! Wonderful front desk staff! Very clean and the family with the boy and girl and newborn who live in the RV were such great neighbours to camp with! Theodore should be your official camp ambassador!

Stayed again in 2023 - hosts were amazing, especially Glenn! Clean bathrooms, safe camping. Hope to find a reason to camp here again soon!

I haven't ever camped in the campgrounds so I can't really speak to if it's decent or what amenities are on-site. I can however, speak to the location because I recently parked on the side of the street just outside their front entrance and that is why Google has assumed I've been there. The campground is just past the North end of the Condensory bridge which crosses the Puntledge river as it starts its final meander. I have been jumping off this bridge into the river below for more than 30 years now and have made a point of doing so at least once every summer. The current in the middle of the river is fairly swift around the bridge but you needn't go far for tamer and shallower waters. There are also trails on the South side of the bridge that will take down stream a little to a small rock beach and another decent swimming hole. This is one of my go-to spots on quite possibly my favourite river so if you're up for a 15'~ plunge into a depth of 15'~ of glacial-fed river or even if you prefer to watch and wade in, I would highly recommend checking it out. And maybe one day I'll check out the campgrounds next door and include it in this post. Happy plummeting and stay safe everyone!
